This policy explains what Slidelang collects and why.

Information we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive basic account information such as your email address, name, and Google account identifier. When you request a translation, we process the presentation file, target language, selected options, and any instructions you provide. For the Launch Proof Program, we also store your referral code, submitted LinkedIn post URL, attribution events, and translation usage needed to monitor free-plan abuse and campaign cost.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate you, manage credits, translate your presentation, provide downloads, support optional Google Slides export, prevent abuse, and operate the service.

Google Drive permission

Slidelang requests the limited drive.file permission only when you choose to save a translated file to Google Slides. Slidelang uses that permission to create the translated file in your Google Drive. Slidelang does not request access to all files in your Drive.

File retention

Uploaded files and translated files are processed temporarily. Translation quotes expire after about 30 minutes, and translated download links expire after about 1 hour. We do not use uploaded presentations to train models. Launch campaign history is retained for up to 12 months unless a shorter retention period is practical.

Cookies and sessions

Slidelang uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. The browser may also use Google sign-in cookies or tokens as part of Google's authentication flow.

Payments

Payments and billing are handled by payment providers. Slidelang stores credit balance information needed to operate the service.
